Last Christmas...

I started Shimelle's Journal Your Christmas class. I only just finished it last weekend....! Still, my deadline was before Dec 1st 2008 so I done that! My main problem was having the intention of printing all my pics together from photobox after I'd taken them all, but 1. I didn't take them all 2. I couldn't print them without taking them all 3. I kept forgetting to take them (to the point where I had my advent calendar until about June and had to give up and throw it out because I still hadn't got around to photographing it!!!)

So I finally got my butt into gear on saturday and snapped the presents and last few things I
needed to finish off the journal, and here it is in all its Christmas glory, just in time for me to repeat the whole process again come 1st Dec 2008. Hopefully this year I will be better at keeping up...

Thinking outside of the box

Recently I've been wanting to try new things, and make sure I'm using all the bits and pieces I own. I decided I wanted to try and use my BIA for something other than books, as I don't get as much time to make them.

I've been dying to try this and thought I'd share. I've used my BIA to embellish the following layout. I punched the holes in my pp as I would do with a book page, but instead looped different fibres all down the edge to make it into a decorative feature. I want to try a stitched sort of effect next time, and perhaps there are other things I haven't thought of yet.

Anyone else made use of things in different ways?

Cropping time

Went cropping last sunday and managed to get back to the norm of producing at least 5 layouts during the day! I also finished off some others that needed journaling or finishing touches.
