Thinking outside of the box

Recently I've been wanting to try new things, and make sure I'm using all the bits and pieces I own. I decided I wanted to try and use my BIA for something other than books, as I don't get as much time to make them.

I've been dying to try this and thought I'd share. I've used my BIA to embellish the following layout. I punched the holes in my pp as I would do with a book page, but instead looped different fibres all down the edge to make it into a decorative feature. I want to try a stitched sort of effect next time, and perhaps there are other things I haven't thought of yet.

Anyone else made use of things in different ways?

It looks brilliant, so well done on using the BIA for something else. I love the torn notebook effect you get if you put a piece of paper into the machine to punch it and rip it out... looks great for journalling! ;)

Gorgeous layout and like your use of the BIA. I've always thought I'd no need of a BIA, but you've now got me thinking about the different ways I could use it.
