My eyes hurt alot. I've been on the computers all day and it hurts...I've had breaks don't worry. But I think I have square eyes now.
Been sorting songs out for my graduation party, not easy. Songs are mostly on ipod, I want them on mac. Sounds easy, but its not. You see if you stop your ipod and itunes syncing up (keeping exactly same songs on both) then when you put a song on ipod and delete from hard drive, its stuck on the ipod. You cannot go back. I found this out a few weeks ago, and finally today got around to trying Senuti, a program which has just saved me. It allows you to open you ipod songs in a separate program and then put them back onto the hard drive, hurrah! So I've been fiddling with this all day and think I've cracked it. Now I have to edit my playlist down as I have more hours of songs than hours of party...
A few doors down there's been a christening party, now tell me, why does the baby require booming music that the whole estate can hear??? So party over there, but its getting a bit annoying now. It started as just quiet reggae this afternoon which was quite fun to listen to, but as the evening has gone on its gotten louder and more thumpy and there's a bloke on the mic going "yeah yeah absolutely, 1 2 1 2, blah blah blah...."
But, while this was going on it inspired me to start testing out the speakers on my pc and mac for the party. Mac on its own isn't loud enough, but my pc speakers seem pretty impressive. So we hooked them up to the mac and it was super loud, rock on! So might have solved that problem.
Oh and my phone appears to be dead now too! Did I tell you I saved my USB stuff??? Well, it lived through its drowning, which is a relief. But my phone isn't ringing or making any noise and keeps vibrating more than its supposed to when I receive messages and stuff...doh. Luckily I've been considering going back to my old phone as I prefer it so had been in the process of copying things over anyway.
Now, I have a story from friday to tell. There is a promotion going on at the moment in our local pubs for "Rose on the Rocks". Basically, its your normal glass of Rose but with some ice cubes in it. But the promo is specifically for my fave rose wine, and it is served in a huge glass with pretty writing, and pink stirrers and a big pink bucket for the ice and bottle. I'm easily amused, and have decided I must have the glass, stirrer and bucket.
Phase one...complete. Actually, phase two is complete too as I got a pink stirrer as well. Shhh....
